Sweepy started as a proof of concept, but quickly became a real iOS app with daily active users.
I used AI to build it with no prior Xcode experience. I leveraged Claude Code for most of the project, used Gemini and Antigravity for code reviews, and spun up the landing page with Cursor. For branding, I hand-drew the mascot, had Gemini convert it into an editable SVG, and refined it in Figma. I also experimented with different prompting strategies and found a workflow that worked especially well. In just two weeks, I built and shipped Sweepy.
Sweepy is a native iOS app built for NYC drivers who park on the street. It saves your exact parking spot, tracks alternate side parking schedules for your block, sends reminders before street cleaning hits, and alerts you instantly when the city suspends rules. In the end I learned a lot about the capabilities AI unlocks. But it is not without its limitations. With JavaScript, PHP, and HTML experience, I got this iOS app 90% of the way there. The last 10% could have been solved if I had prior experience in iOS application development and architecture. That last 10% took most of the time and was the biggest source of frustration. AI is powerful, but without the right person at the helm, you can burn tokens and create technical debt.

Hi-YAH! is the go-to streaming platform for martial arts and Asian action films in the U.S. To generate excitement and showcase the depth of their catalog, we crafted a high-energy trailer for use across all channels. Collaborating with a music producer, we created an original track incorporating iconic fight scene sound effects, seamlessly syncing them with dynamic editing to amplify the action.
